The Delta à La Carte Restaurant is a popular meeting place for those who enjoy walking along the shores of the beautiful Swiss Lake Thun. We serve fixed midday menus, business lunches, and offer an à la carte menu in the evening.
The Delta Lounge & Bar serves specialty coffees, cocktails, as well as snacks for guests with a smaller appetite.

Smaller groups with up to 20 guests can be accommodated in the “Delta” à la carte restaurant, and of course on the lakeside terrace if the weather cooperates. Aperitifs, refreshments, and receptions can be enjoyed in the Kander or Simme rooms in the main building. For events with up to 12 guests, we also recommend a relaxing cruise on our partner’s “Solarschiff Thunersee” solar-powered boat.
Guests can relax and enjoy the unique view of Lake Thun in Deltapark’s warm natural saltwater indoor pool (110m² solebad). We use natural saline water from the Rheinfelden saltworks near Basel, Switzerland. The salt crystals were formed millions of years ago as deposits in shell-bearing limestone, and are now recovered from depths of 140 to 400 meters in the form of naturally saturated salt water.
The freshwater outdoor pool (30m²) offers a relaxing bathing experience: our guests can relax in water up to 35 ° Celsius (95° Fahrenheit) while gazing in wonder at Lake Thun and the beautiful mountain landscape.
Guests can climb the elegant staircase directly from the swimming pools to reach the swimsuit sauna area on the second floor. You will enjoy our herbal bio-sauna, chalet sauna, natural stone steam bath, and a variety of massage and special light effect showers.
On the third floor, fans of traditional nude saunas will thoroughly enjoy our mountain salt sauna, gentle bio-sauna, and mystic steam room. A generous foyer with fire place, ice-water fountain, and footbaths complete the spa experience.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, our top floor offers 55 m² of pure relaxation space. Enjoy a unique view of the lower Lake Thun basin as well as the beautiful old town, castle, and the surrounding mountains.
The Asian Lagoon Private Spa Suite imports a touch of South Sea feeling and has its own steam bath and bio-sauna. The cold water shower and the ice-water fountain offer a welcome cooling-off after your tropical steam bath or sauna.
Guest feel like they’re on an adventurous safari trip in our African Lodge Private Spa Suite. In addition to the sauna and steam room, the African Lodge offers an exclusive couples bathtub with a view over the western tip of Lake Thun.
